No Win, No Fee Legal Claim
Military Hearing Impairment (MHImp) is a service provided by RGL Management for military veterans and personnel experiencing symptoms of hearing impairment such as deafness, hearing loss and tinnitus.
RGL Management is an FCA-authorised claims management company with many years' experience of legal claims against large organisations.
To represent claimants bringing Military Noise-Induced Hearing Loss (MNIHL) claims against the MoD, RGL has teamed up with BC Legal, a firm of solicitors with over 25 years' experience in hearing impairment claims. A funder will pay all the expenses of bringing the legal claim at nil cost to you unless and until your claim succeeds.
On success, the solicitor (BC Legal) will recover its fees from the MoD – you do not pay them. The funder will deduct 25% (only) from the compensation you recover for certain aspects of your hearing damage.
Should your claim not succeed, you pay nothing.
RGL Management is authorised and regulated as a claims management company by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN: 833132).

Premium Service
This hearing test is the first step in bringing a claim against the MoD and will be combined with professional assessment of your present and likely future condition. To reiterate, the test is a premium service provided at no charge to you.
Understanding Military Hearing Loss
Military service exposes personnel to dangerous noise levels that can cause permanent hearing damage
Conductive Hearing Loss
Damage to the outer or middle ear preventing sound from reaching the inner ear effectively.
- • Often reversible with treatment
- • Caused by blockages or damage
- • Common after blast exposure
Sensorineural Hearing Loss
Permanent damage to the inner ear or auditory nerve from prolonged noise exposure.
- • Usually permanent
- • Most common in veterans
- • From gunfire & machinery
Mixed Hearing Loss
Combination of both conductive and sensorineural damage requiring comprehensive treatment.
- • Complex treatment needed
- • Higher compensation potential
- • Multiple exposure causes
Did You Know?
Noise levels from gunfire can reach 175 dB - that's louder than a jet engine at takeoff. Even with ear protection, repeated exposure causes cumulative damage. Over 300,000 veterans suffer from service-related hearing loss, and you may be entitled to significant compensation.
